Susan Jung, M.Ed., Ed.S, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia. She received her counseling degree from the University of Florida and did doctoral work at the University of North Texas. Susan was an elementary school counselor for 30+ years, a riding instructor, and a horse show judge. Susan has taught at the college level at Our Lady of the Lake University, Tarrant County Junior College, and Wesleyan College.
Eagala membership began in 2000. During her term of seven years on the Eagala Board, Susan served as secretary, Vice Chair, and chair of the Governance Committee. She has presented at several Eagala conferences.
Susan is the founder of Winning Strides where she functions as MH and ES. Two manuals were published, Colts and Fillies, and Head ‘em Up! Move ‘em Out!. These manuals guide Eagala professionals who work with young children.
At Winning Strides, Susan does EAP, EAL, and Continuing education for mental health professionals. She also invites agencies to take their clients for day long retreats and stress relief by working with horses. Her favorite place to be is in her barn where she can interact with the horses throughout the day.
