Dr. Natasha Filippides is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY31549), Life Coach, Author, Educator, Speaker, and Equine Assisted Mental Health Professional.

She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Irvine, and went on to study Marriage and Family Therapy, receiving a Master of Science Degree from the University of La Verne. Dr. Natasha continued her academic journey at Pacifica Graduate Institute, where she was awarded a Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Depth Psychology.

Growing up as a competitive equestrian, Dr. Natasha has spent over two decades combining her knowledge of human and horse behavior to provide Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. Her groundbreaking book, *Beyond the Couch: A Psychoanalytic Approach to Equine Assisted Psychotherapy*, has gained international recognition.

Dr. Natasha first became a member of Eagala and received her certification and training in 2009. Her passion for horses and psychology has been the cornerstone of her life’s work.

Dr. Natasha is thrilled to join the Eagala Board and is excited to serve the global community through her role. She looks forward to contributing her knowledge and experience to further Eagala’s mission and make a positive impact on a larger scale.

Dr. Natasha lives in Houston, TX with her husband and their four rescue dogs.
